Varied, alpine cuisine awaits you in the à la carte restaurant Forstauerwirt in the centre of Forstau, Salzburger Land. Here with us dining and enjoying are in harmonious accord. In addition to tasty delicacies from the "light, regional kitchen" you’ll also find traditional dishes, made from fresh Produce. In the summer and winter season our theme days await 2x a week: Schnitzel Day and Cordon Bleu Festival. Ask for our seasonal recommendations! Savour our culinary highlights at the beautifully decorated tables in the spacious dining room and on the sun terrace. Thanks to our children’s playground the waiting time for food flies by for our younger guests.

In summer and winter high season Tuesday is Schnitzel Day at the Forstauerwirt. A number of various types of Schnitzel are on the menu: whether Salzburger Schnitzel or Gourmet Schnitzel, Schnitzel Italia, Forrester Schnitzel or other tasty creations – there’s something to suit everyone!

Fridays: Cordon Bleu Festival

Every Friday in the summer and winter high season you can enjoy our popular Cordon Bleu Festival with a large selection of Cordon Bleus with various fillings Pop by our Restaurant Forstauerwirt in Forstau and try out our classic-traditional to innovative variations.
